Ghostwriting, in your voice

You have the story, the expertise or the memories. A professional ghostwriter turns your conversations, notes and drafts into a complete, publishable manuscript that sounds like you, with your name on the cover.

Often chosen for
  • Busy professionals
  • Memoir and life stories
  • Experts with a method
  • First-time authors

What a good ghostwriter actually does

Ghostwriting is less about writing and more about listening. Your writer interviews you, organises what you know into a structure readers can follow, and then writes chapter by chapter in a voice you recognise as your own.

You stay in control throughout: you approve the outline before writing begins, review each chapter as it is drafted, and decide what stays in the final book.

All FAQs
How does ghostwriting work?

We start with a conversation about your book, then run a series of interviews by video call or phone. Your ghostwriter builds an outline for you to approve, writes the chapters in stages, and revises them with your feedback until the manuscript reads the way you want.

Will the book really sound like me?

That is the main job. Your writer listens to how you speak and tell stories, and you review every chapter. Phrases you use often are kept, and anything that does not sound like you is changed.

How long does a ghostwritten book take?

It depends on the length of the book, how much material you already have and how quickly you can review chapters. Your proposal includes a schedule for each stage.

Whose name goes on the book, and who owns it?

Your name goes on the cover. Ownership, credit and confidentiality are set out in writing in your agreement before any work begins.

How much does ghostwriting cost?

Every project is quoted individually. The main factors are word count, the amount of research and interviewing involved, and your timeline.
